Really reliable and great - 09 Oct 2007

A very reliable phone. Also very strong and is suprisingly good quality, and has many great hidden extras. Great value for money
Oversensitive interface, poor battery - 09 Mar 2007

This is a dreadful phone - poor overcomplicated interface - much too sensitive. The colour screen rapidly drains power and the standby only lasts about three days. The camera quality is appalling - I haven't tried any of the other unnecessary functions. I have now reverted to using my ancient four-year old Alcatel mobile - with it's tiny black and white LCD screen at least I can make and receive calls with that one.
Disappointing... - 26 Sep 2006

Works for about a year then the fancy navigation joystick breaks. I'm not the only one who has experienced this!
Also typing text messages is not as easy as with some phones.
GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY - 23 Oct 2005

I PICKED THIS PHONE UP FOR £75 AS A REPLACEMENT FOR MY OLD O2 NOKIA 3100.IT,S EASY TO USE WITH THE CENTRAL NAVI-KEY,HAS A REALLY LARGE COLOURFUL SCREEN,BLUETOOTH,WAP,RADIO,CAMERA WITH VIDEO CAPABILTY.GOOD BATTERY LIFE.IT ALSO HAS MP3 THOUGH IT,S LIMITED TO THE 41MEG MEMORY.MY ONLY GRIPE IS NO MEMORY SLOT LIKE THE NOKIA 6230.STILL YOU CAN ALWAYS UPLOAD YOUR STUFF TO A P.C.TO FREE UP MEMORY.IT,S A GREAT LITTLE PHONE AND I THINK IT,S MONEY WELL SPENT.THIS IS MY FIRST ERICSSON PHONE AND IT WON,T BE MY LAST.BUY IT, YOU,LL LIKE IT!

By the time you read this review Sony will have produced a new version of this phone (K750i) and in all liklihood it will be on the market in the same group of deals as this phone. If someone offers you the phone second hand it is worth buying if you want it contract free. But I echo the thoughts of the reviewer above, it is dependable without being cutting edge. A better bet is to get the K750i which has more memory and better camera. I can't vouch for the radio quality on the new version, yet.
