I bought two of these handsets as back-ups for our company phones and - for the price - you are getting a half decent handset. Okay, so it's only a VGA camera and there's only about 9mb of memeory but it'll hold a couple of ringtone MP3's and a few photos. It may not be as flashy as the latest generation of Nokias and Samsungs, but then it's only a fraction of the price. Also, bear in mind, that this would have been cutting edge technology only a mere eighteen months ago and times move fast these days.

However, as it's a Motorola, people used to Nokias, Siemens and Samsungs et all may struggle to use this at first. Motorola have their own peculiar menu and predictive text systems that are exclusive to them, so they do take a bit of getting used to if you're familiar with other handsets.

And at least it's NOT yet another rehash of the tired old RAZR look!!! Okay, it may be based on early RAZR technology but at least it has a different looking shell. Motorola undeniably struck gold with the RAZR last year, but have now 'flogged it to death' with all the different colours you can now get.

Overall, it's ideal as a first phone for kids or for an occasional back-up handset. It won't be suitable for people into their gadgets who want more but then they'll happily pay more!
