Bought the phone yesterday. For the soul purpose of listening to mp3s and having mp3 ringtones. However, it doesn't come with the data cable or software - so you can't put mp3s on it. Was very annoyed....may have sworn.
It's a really nice phone with loads of features, but you shouldn't have to pay for extra software just to use them.

I got this phone on boxing day in the pink version. I was impressed the minute I took it out of the box because it's so small and pretty. It has plenty of java games and fun features like infrared, camera, video, voice recording, mp3 player and so on. The camera is a good crystal clear quality - as is the video - and it has effects and 30 frames which is a good feature. There is heaps of memory, the infrared works very quickly, generally without fail and it is TINY! The screen is clear and big enough with good quality. The slide design is good with a smooth chunky feel. My uncle has had trouble with the samsung e's but this one is AMAZING!

I gi=ot this phone for christmas and as soon as I got it out of the box I was impressed. It is the pink version and it is so pretty and so small! I could literally lose it in a jeans pocket or a tiny handbag. It has heaps of features, camera, plenty of java games to keep me entertained, video, voice recorder, mp3 and infrared. There are loads of cool extras added to each feature, for example there are lots of frames and and effects on the camera, which is a fun extra. The slide is good quality, as it slides open with a smooth feel. The screen is crystal clear, the phone has a nice chunky feel, the texting works fast, the caller id is a fun extra, and if you are making a call and you are somewhere noisy the phone adjusts itself so it is clearer and easier for you to hear the person on the other end of the line. Im seriously impressed and as my uncle has had trouble with the samsung e's I can reccomend this one to him! THE SAMSUNG E£%) ROCKS!

I got this phone on a vodaphone contract, i had never seen it before and had no idea of the stand alone price, (Which i thought would be more). Samsung had this whole i dea of making a set of gender phones, this model is the female one. It is pinky and elegant and really quite nice, the phone itself can be for guys or girls they took it a bit too far really with the marketting, i myself am a guy. Although some of the features of this phone i may not use (EG, period callendar. AKA, "Pink calendar") some i will! (Calorie counter, gotta watch the pounds!).

Basicly the features are made for women, it is designed for women, but it has everything aphone needs and alot it doesnt, *cough* but all in all its a girls best friend, but dont worry if you are a guy and ACCIDENTLY bought this not realising it wars marketed at women, not mentioning any names.

This is good for everyone, simple and compact, has everything you need. and apprently dirt cheap! good buy good buy.

superb phone, nice size closed, usable size opened, chunky quality feel, no rattles, all the toys you need, mp3, java games, cam, vid etc etc. and it all works easily and is easy to find. mp3 ringtones are dead easily to load on and use, battery lasts forever in normal use, even has low radiation level so no fried brain (unlike nokias, cook your dinner on those things).
only downsides are usual flimsy port covers (same as most phones tbh)no data cable (7 quid from auction)and rubbish poly ringtones as standard, but with mp3 who needs poly cheap casio keyboard tunes played by a three year old.

ALL ABOVE TRUE ENOUGH, BUT THIS PHONE GAVE UP THE GHOST AFTER 14 MONTHS. SLIDER HAS CONNECTION WHICH IS PRONE TO DUST INGRATION AND GRATING. THIS MUST WEAR AWAY THE CONNECTION BECAUSE EVENTUALLY NOTHING WORKS.
DON'T BUY A SLIDER, NOT THIS ONE ANY WAY.
